Natural rubber is mainly classified according to the method of production and use.

General category: standard glue (including constant and low viscose), tobacco sheet glue, air-dried sheet glue, wrinkle sheet glue,

Special glue: oil-filled rubber, tire rubber, low-protein glue, easy-to-operate glue, purified rubber, carbon black co-seed rubber, loose rubber, rubber gel

Other rubber: gutta percha, silver chrysanthemum

Classification of natural rubber

There are two classifications in the above glue. The quasi-adhesive is graded according to physical and chemical indicators, and the tobacco sheets are graded according to the appearance. The former is more scientific. Standard glue, also known as granule glue T, was developed in Malaysia in 1965. The granulation method is adopted in the manufacturing process, and the quality grade is controlled by mechanical impurities. A total of seven indicators are used for control, and packaging and labeling are improved. China’s national standard Huaihua GB/T 8081-1999.

The color of the standard glue is defined by the lovibond color index. The plastic retention rate (PRI) refers to the Wallis plastic retention rate of the raw rubber before and after heating at 140 ° C for 30 minutes, expressed as a percentage. The higher the value, the stronger the anti-plate breaking ability of the glue.
